Empowering Communities
More than two-thirds of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon live below the poverty line. Their overcrowded and informal refugee camps lack the most basic infrastructure, with many homes unfit to live in. Our work focuses on meeting the urgent and basic needs of the refugee community, to the point of saving lives in some cases. To be effective, this work must be comprehensive, sustained, and based on our deep understanding of the refugee community in Lebanon.
